some houses were insulated by blowing crushed, loose-fill asbestos (largely amosite with some crocidolite) into roof spaces. Over time, asbestos fibres migrated to other areas such as wall cavities, subfloor spaces, cupboards, heating and cooling ducts and vents, living areas, and bedrooms.
