The primary objective of treatment must be the eradication of measurable and biologically aggressive disease with minimal toxicity. However, although treatment is usually intended to be a single session, patients should know that further treatment might be necessary in the future. Standardised follow-up schedules and retreatment indications are currently non-existent.
